Visit the Health Department Website for the Latest, Most Accurate Ebola Information
Since July, the North Carolina Division of Public Health has been working closely with public health partners and healthcare providers statewide to prepare for the possibility of Ebola virus infections in North Carolina. At this time, there are no known or suspected cases of Ebola in North Carolina. State public health officials will continue to actively monitor for cases using a variety of methods, including real time surveillance of hospital emergency department visits through a network of hospital-based public health epidemiologists in the state's largest hospital systems.
The Moore County Health Department maintains a direct line of communication with both national and state public health agencies, as well as healthcare providers here in Moore County. As Ebola updates and advisories are made available, the Moore County Health Department will post all information to the Department’s website. Moore County residents are urged to visit the Health Department website for the most timely and accurate information regarding Ebola.
The Moore County Health Department website can be found at www.moorecountync.gov/health.
