Winter Weather Event Information
- Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Law Enforcement operations continue throughout
the county without interruption.
- Moore County Governmental Offices will closed until Monday morning,
January 25, 2016 to include all actives at the following Departments:
Library
Senior
Enrichment Center (Department of Aging)
Animal
Operations
Solid
Waste Collections Sites and Landfill
Parks
and Recreations
- The Moore County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is activated to
manage the overall storm response and recovery efforts. The telephone number to reach the EOC
for assistance is 910-947-6317.

Please do not call the EOC to report power outages, get road conditions or
to arrange transportation to or from work.
- Moore County Department of Social Services and Health Department has
one (1) emergency public shelter is OPEN. For those without power or heat
due to the storm.
