A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK NORTHEAST UP THE SOUTHEAST AND
MIDDLE ATLANTIC COASTS TONIGHT AND TUESDAY. A WINTRY MIXTURE OF
SNOW AND SLEET WILL GRADUALLY CHANGE TO FREEZING RAIN OVERNIGHT.
AREAS OF FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST TUESDAY.
* PRECIPITATION TYPES: LIGHT FREEZING RAIN MAY MIX WITH SOME LIGHT
SLEET OVERNIGHT. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL TAPER OFF TO FREEZING
DRIZZLE TUESDAY MORNING.
* ACCUMULATION: ADDITIONAL SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE
AROUND A TRACE. ADDITIONAL ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO A QUARTER
INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE. THIS WILL BRING STORM TOTAL SNOW AND
SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 10 INCHES. STORM TOTAL ICE
ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE EIGHT TO ONE QUARTER INCH.
* TIMING: SIGNIFICANT ICING WILL TAPER TO FREEZING DRIZZLE TUESDAY
MORNING.
* IMPACTS: ROADS WILL CONTINUE TO BE HAZARDOUS. SOME POWER OUTAGES
MAY OCCUR. ONLY SLOW IMPROVEMENTS CAN BE EXPECTED DUE TO THE
LINGERING COLD CONDITIONS AFTER THE EVENT.
* TEMPERATURES: TEMPERATURES WILL HOLD STEADY IN THE UPPER 20S
TO AROUND 30 DEGREES THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. TEMPERATURES
WILL SLOWLY RISE ABOVE FREEZING BY MIDDAY TUESDAY.

SLEET...AND ICE ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.
