Woodlake Dam

8 High volume pumps will remain in place to continue with the process of lowering  water levels and continue to relieve the stress on the dam and overflow spill way.

Geosyntec will remain on site to monitor the dam water level and develop a long term plan.  Moore County Public Safety and NC DEQ/DENR- Dam Safety staff will continue to monitor and work with Geosyntec.

Mandatory Evacuation Order will be allowed to expire on Sunday, October 16th at 3:00 pm

Moore County shelter located at the County Ag. Building in Carthage will be closing at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 16th.
