Public Information Release #2: Moore County Governmental Office Schedule
for Tuesday December 11, 2018

Due to the weekend inclement weather and continual below freezing temperatures for Moore County, the following modifications have been made regarding Moore County Governmental departments, activities and events:

1.         Moore County Governmental Offices will operate on an 8am to 5pm schedule Tuesday December 11, 2018.  Non-emergency employees should follow this schedule when reporting for work unless otherwise directed.

2.          Moore County Transportation Services will not operate Monday December 10th or
Tuesday December 11, 2018.

3.          Moore County Department of Aging Senior Enrichment Center Activities, Home                          Delivered Meals, In-Home Aid visits, and Diners Club are cancelled for Monday                          December 10th and Tuesday December 11, 2018.

4.         Moore County Solid Waste Landfill and Carthage Solid Waste Compactor Site will open at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday December 11, 2018.   All other Solid Waste Compactor sites will be evaluated throughout the day on Tuesday December 11, 2018 and will be opened if possible

5.         All Parks and Recreation Department activities for Monday December 10, 2018 have                    been cancelled.  No activities until Saturday December 15, 2018.

6.         All Moore County Governmental Offices will resume normal work schedule on Wednesday December 12, 2018.

Please do not call the EOC or 911, to get road conditions or to arrange transport to or from work.
