Due to the potential for inclement weather to impact Moore County, the following modifications have been made regarding Moore County Governmental departments, activities and events:
1. Moore County Solid Waste Landfill and Carthage Solid Waste Compactor Site will open at 10:00 A.M. Monday December 10, 2018. All other Solid Waste Compactor sites will be closed Monday December 10, 2018.
2. Moore County Transportation Services will not operate Monday December 10, 2018.
3. Moore County Department of Aging Senior Enrichment Center Activities, Home Delivered Meals, In- Home Aid visits, and Diners Club are cancelled for Monday December 10, 2018 .
4. All other Moore County Governmental Office will operate on an 8am to 5pm schedule Monday December 10, 2018. Non-emergency employees should follow this schedule when reporting for work unless otherwise directed.
5. The Shelter at the Moore County AG Center has been closed.
