•Current
FNS clients can receive a Replacement benefit allotment to replace food lost in
this disaster; the maximum replacement amount cannot be more than the FNS
unit's benefit amount for one
month. There are NO additional benefits
being given at this time.
•The
client must report the food loss within 10 calendar days of the date the food
was lost, in our case the disaster date is 10/8/2016, and a DSS-1678 must be
completed. The 10th day would be
10/18/2016 to report any loss.
•The
client is NOT required to provide any additional verification of the food loss
other than the DSS-1678
